Futuristic Look of HS2 personal carriages

In Stockport today, in an effort to 'drum up' local support, a public exhibition was held to show off the futuristic look of the personal carriages that would run on the high speeds lines.

Whilst no public announcement had been made as to the exhibition taking place, our roving reportor Mr S.M.Head, managed to catch the magic and see the first class carriage.

The futuristic silver carriage is designed for single occupancy, however a two person model may be in the pipline.

Also on display was the standard class stlye of coach, decorated in a more conventional red, which is less futuristic looking, but will meet the needs of 'commoners.'

As can be seen the exhibition was well attended by one lady, who walked of as our reporter tried to talk with her.
