  1. Councils and other public authorities across the North West take action to overcome natural turnover of personnel as part of normal day to day administration shocker.

Spokesman for NW Public Sector Profligacy Committee admits that despite Govt's declaration that we are in it together, some employees were selfishly refusing to grow old, remain completely healthy, not die, or move to another part of the country/world.

"We have been forced to seek hordes of new staff to fill vacancies caused by the actions of a heartless few."

However when pushed, Sir Tufton Bufton-Hufton was forced to admit that in the context of overall staffing levels, the numbers were miniscule.

    1. Is this the same 'Sir Tufton Bufton-Hufton' who offers sage-like advice such as saying to starving people in the food bank queue -'what do you mean they have run out of bread, well I say let them eat cake?'

  2. No, that's his brother, Sir Rufton. Food banks are going to be THE growth area of 2013.
Think things are tough now? Wait til the Govt's strategy really kicks in.

    1. Ah, I always get those brothers confused, along with Sir Dufton (Duffie to his friends.) If Food Banks are your top-tip for 2013, I think I will invest my zillions into that market, are any Food Banks listed on the FTSE100?
