  2. There are quite a few comments on page that promotes the 'New Look' website. All complimentary, all a little dull!

    5. My theory is the Thoughtful / Full Thought has to be several people, or one person with multiple personalities. It's the only way to explain the mess of contradictions in her views.

    6. Was Free Thinking AKA City Centre? CC went AWOL and they both seemed like calm sensible types.

    7. I think so. It was funny because CC would often post ironic comments e.g. blaming Metrolink delays on immigrants - and that's what got him banned. I was also amazed by the patience with which he used to argue with Thoughtful.

    8. Oh is that why CC vanished, I did wonder. however I was never truly convinced Free Thinking was CC, the style changed as did some of the views. Then again, they may have taken a view that they wanted a personality change

    9. I tried having an alter ego (changed my name) to try to understand the mindset of all the 'orrible people. Whenever there was a story about crime etc. I'd say something mean. I'd get loads of likes but it made me feel really sad.

So one of the things I always think about the meanies is that however horrible they are to other people, it must be worse being them.

    10. ' however horrible they are to other people, it must be worse being them' - however, as they are meanies and, stereotyping here, generally do not give a stuff about anyone but themselves - they do not look at themselves the same way you or I would. Have you ever noticed it is only 'nice' people who suffer depression

    11. This is getting a bit serious, but I'm not sure I fully agree about only nice people suffering depression. It's true that some people go through life without thinking about the impact of their behaviour on others. Socrates said "The uncontemplated life is not worth living" (in Greek obviously) and I'd tend to agree with him.

I do think though, that a lot of meanness stems from the personal unhappiness of the meanie. Having said that, you'd think I'd go easier on them. But no - I'm sure they really appreciated the 'tough love' I handed out!
